There is something so special about bringing new life into the world.

I’d originally first met Steven and Ryshel through Dutch Bros when I was working there years ago. Steven was always coming in before or after his shifts at work, asking for his blended Rebel, and I’ll never forget the day he told me he had proposed to his stunning girlfriend Ryshel! I left Dutch right before the two of them got married, and it was regulars like them that actually made it so hard for me to leave and pursue photography full time.

So you can imagine how ecstatic I was when these two announced that they were pregnant (seriously, sweetest announcement video ever, I totally bawled) and when they asked me to be their maternity photographer! My heart almost burst, I was so excited.

So on a very chilly day in February, the three of us headed out and took some insanely stunning photos of these two soon-to-be parents. I can’t believe how well Ryshel braved the cold, even in her lace maternity dress! But it was so worth it, being able to capture such a sweet time of their lives. They both radiated love and excitement, and you could just tell they were going to be the best parents.

After our session, I was so thrilled to know that Ryshel would be showing off their beautiful images at her baby shower! They made the perfect table decorations, and I loved knowing that they would have these moments to frame and hang in their home to look back on forever.

On May 4th, 2017,  they welcomed their little bundle of joy into the world and since then she is growing into such a beautiful little girl! I can’t believe she is already 5 months old today.

Ryshel and Steven, I love you both so much and am so honored I got to capture such a special moment in your guys’ lives! You are both the most amazing parents, and little Paislee is the cutest thing I ever did see. I cannot wait to watch her grow and continue to light up your guys’ world! Thank you both again, I cannot put into words how happy I am for you.
