It’s not often I capture family pictures, but when I do, I love to work with families like this one.

When Leigh Ann reached out to me and told me about her daughter leaving for a 9 month mission trip, I knew we had to get their family photos done no matter what it took! Leigh Ann told me at our consultation about how she and her high school sweetheart had moved to Boise from Tennessee years ago, and that they had two beautiful teenage daughters who were both so outgoing, in love with Jesus, and were goofballs just like her husband. I fell in love even more when I met John, Sarah, and Annabelle, as we spent an hour and a half laughing and trying not to get goat heads stuck in our shoes before a huge rain storm hit us!

After their session, it warmed my heart to know that their images would be hanging proudly in their living room for all to see. Even with Sarah leaving about a week after we had their session, I’m so happy that they were able to capture these moments together and that she was able to see the final results. Each moment in life is so precious, and I don’t take family pictures lightly when I do photograph them.
