Kamra’s session was extra special because not only did she make the journey from Seattle to Boise for her boudoir shoot, but she was also an online-photographer friend that I had been DYING to meet in person! It’s always so much fun working with fellow creatives and photographers, and sweet Kamra made my job SO easy.
I always try to get to know my clients and make them feel as comfortable as possible before each session. With Kamra’s traveling schedule, I took it one step further and allowed her to stay the evening at my place! For as long as I live, I’ll never the night before her session after she rolled into town. What started out as a conversation to finalize shots and outfits for her shoot in the morning unintentionally turned into one of the deepest heart-to-hearts I had ever had. We stayed up until 2 AM sharing some of the most private, intimate parts of our life; sometimes laughing, other times crying, and at all times filled with this awe-struck wonder that only God could have set up such a divine appointment between the two of us.
We forced ourselves to get to bed and the next morning, we spent the day in the studio creating magic together. Worried she wasn’t “sexy” enough, I made it my mission to prove her wrong. And boy, I did! And to end her shoot, I put together one of the rawest, most beautiful collages I had ever done for a client, filled with all the beautiful bits of Kamra that make up who she is.
Kamra had been putting off her session for awhile, but I’m so happy she pushed herself to come and do this. We not only created unforgettable moments for Kamra to look back on, but we created unforgettable and life-changing memories in the process.
I love you so much babe, and cannot tell you enough how INCREDIBLE you are in every way! As a business owner, wife, daughter, friend, and woman, you astound me and continue to inspire me each day. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of such a special occasion in your life!
