I have known Mikaela since she was in grade school since she was close friends with my little sister, and when she asked me to take her senior pictures I was so thrilled! Senior year is a special time for seniors and parents alike, but this was extra special for me because it hit me just as much as it did her mom that she is graduating!
So as we drove out to Celebration Park and I got to catch up with her and her mom, I couldn’t help feeling nostalgic as I thought about how quickly time flies and how it can take a little girl and shape her into a beautiful young woman in the span of just a few years. Our evening was spent swatting away thousands of bugs, twirling and laughing in the sunshine which thankfully peaked out after a rainy day, watching someone who may or may not have been a serial killer, and dancing barefooted in the street way in the dark to get those last few shots.
The most special part of the whole experience was during my favorite part of my job- delivering Mikaela’s prints to her home. It was like Christmas had come early, and I wanted to cry when I saw how much these moments meant to her and her family! I know that they will be looked at and cherished for years and years to come.
Thank you so much Quintero family for welcoming me into your home and for allowing me the opportunity to capture your beautiful daughter on camera! I love you guys and appreciate you so so much.
(PS- Mikaela’s mom bought her the most gorgeous dress that we used for the last bit of our session and it was my FAVORITE outfit from the whole day! Check out the styling details below)

Where did she get her floral orange dress from?
Thanks
