Just a few of the things Meredith and I already had in common when she messaged me on Facebook near the end of February, saying we should toooootally meet up for coffee!
We had been Facebook friends since forever and I have followed Meredith and her amazing photography skills since I was 16, but March 7th was our first day OFFICIALLY meeting. Which, HELLO- I don’t know HOW we didn’t do it sooner! We are both 5-foot-nothing Jesus lovers who work/ed at Dutch Bros slingin’ bean and can always be found with a camera in our hand, not to mention Meredith just so happened to have Wyn as her cabin leader at Yeah Field Trip just a MONTH after I had attended his OWN IT workshop in Colorado! A match made in heaven we are.
So, we met up for coffee at Java, talked photography and business, then walked around the block and explored and goofed around, flipping hair and dancing on the top of parking garages while we laughed our butts off the entire time.
Mere is such a joy and shining light wherever she goes. I had been in a funk for the last few weeks of February, but meeting up with Meredith and getting out and just shooting for me and for fun was such a breath of fresh air, just what I needed to lift my spirits and get my creative juices flowing again.
Love you, Meredith. Even if you are a canon user 😉
