Emma is a gatherer.

When Emma and her momma first came to the studio for her consultation, I instantly knew that we were going to get along. Not only did she tell me about all the clubs and extracurricular activities she was involved in, but she also shared with me how she loved to volunteer, and host weekend friend nights at her place. Coupled with her love for books and Lord of the Rings, and I was ready to be her BFF right then and there!

For her session I knew I wanted to capture her warm and inviting spirit, her outgoing personality, and I wanted to do something with her hands to represent the way she brings people together. We hit up one of her favorite coffee shops downtown to start with her favorite seasonal drink, a pumpkin chai, then had a blast dancing to Drake while we danced and played in the sun for the rest of the evening. We may have had a moment where we were covered in glitter and could NOT figure out how to get it off, but all it did was provide more laughs for us in the end!
